Abstract

This paper deals with the discrete-time Sliding Mode Control of induction motor. The proposed method allows to control the components of stator current vector expressed in the synchronous frame as well as the rotor flux amplitude and electromagnetic torque indirectly. The control structure ensures the constraints of both stator current and voltage as well ensures stator current vector components are controlled to follow their reference values precisely. Performance of the control structure is validated using wide simulation tests. The influence of the sampling frequency on the control quality is verified as well.
