Abstract

Two radio galaxies were serendipitously discovered in the Zwicky Cluster 1437.3+6436. One radio galaxy is a resolved point source. The other radio galaxy consists of jets that extend from a resolved core and eventually reach a large region of extended emission in a direction away from the cluster center. From the Palomar Observatory Sky Survey prints, it is found that the optical counterparts of these radio sources are elliptical galaxies. The radio and optical properties of these galaxies are consistent with those of galaxies in other clusters
