Abstract

This report consists of two case histories of concealed gold deposits discovered in the Jiaodong area, Shandong province, China. In this area, geophysical methods successfully traced the extension of the ore-controlling fault zone and delineated a gold-bearing sulfide enrichment belt. Multielement anomalies Cu-Pb-Zn-Ag-Au associated with the buried gold orebodies were revealed by geochemical surveys using deep sampling.
