Subjects in group A received verbal instructions, watched on video an expert athlete perform the skill and received feedback information during their practice sessions. Subjects in group B received verbal instructions, watched on video a novice athlete perform the skill and received feedback information during their practice sessions. Subjects in group C received verbal instructions, and did not received any feedback information during their practice sessions. Subjects in group D received analytical verbal instructions, and feedback information during their practice sessions. The practice period lasted for 4 weeks and included 12 sessions of 30 min each. Measurements were performed before and after the practice period. Retention measurements were performed 1 week after the final measurements. Statistical analysis included univariate repeated measures analysis on the first factor (3 measures × 4methods). According to the results of the analysis, the variables of “technical performance” and “result of movement” have been significantly improved in the final and retention measurements.
