Abstract

The arrival of migrants has been a major challenge for Italian society; however, a uniform reception system has yet to be created in the country. Based on interviews conducted in one of the best local reception systems (located in Trentino, in Northern Italy), we analyze two central themes raised in the discourses of this community of practice that bring out the more or less recognized role of “moral entrepreneur” at street level.
