Abstract
The purpose of this chapter is twofold: first, to discuss the advantages and limitations of Foucault’s ideas on discourse and power; and second, to illustrate such advantages and limitations in the context of an analysis of some environmental issues, notably including ozone depletion, transport policy and alternative energy policy in the United Kingdom.
