Abstract

In a recent edition of this journal, we undertook a static bioeconomic analysis of Canada's Pacific halibut fishery, and optimal harvesting levels were established according to different optimizing criteria, including the maximization of the sum of intramarginal and resource rents, the maximization of the social surplus, and the maximization of resource rent. This paper extends the analysis to a dynamic framework.
