Abstract
This chapter is a basic for the book, since it considers not only discontinuous almost periodic functions, which are initial in the research of differential equations with different types of discontinuity, but also unbounded number sequences which are common instruments to introduce and analyze discontinuities not only in impulsive systems, but also in differential equations with discontinuous right-hand side, differential equations with piecewise constant arguments, dynamics on time scales.
