Abstract

DISCO is a distributed, supervisory and control system designed for use in industrial process control applications and/or research and development laboratories. The program is a sequential file processor designed to execute on a distributed network of micro + mini + maxi computers in conjunction with the computer vendor's operating system and network software. A modular structure, standard software interfaces, and a high level of support for the user-interface provide a very flexible, user-oriented system that can handle a wide variety of applications.
