Abstract
Background With the development of day case surgery,a number of new scoring systems had been designed to help the doctors to evaluate whether and when to let the patients discharging home.But till now,globally standardized criteria for discharge after anesthesia have not been established.Objective This paper sums up literatures on the discharge criteria of day case surgery.Content This paper describes the Aldrete's scoring system,postanesthetic discharge scoring system,the discharge criteria after neuraxial blockade and regional anesthesia,and the factors that affect hospital stay.Trend Each scoring system has its own superiority.However,with the development of surgery and anesthesia,we need to formulate more in line with the status quo of discharge criteria of day case surgery.
