Abstract

This first issue of Risk, Hazards and Crisis in Public Policy (RHCPP) of 2019 reports on disaster consequences for citizens, and on the intricacies of collaboration in crisis response. With five excellent contributions, on victims' perspectives, on collaboration in disaster response and recovery phases, and on citizens' perception of terrorism risks that stand out in both their scholarly added value and practical outreach. Chinese and Spanish translations to this editorial are included.
