Abstract

Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is widely used in low and middle power fields. The Direct torque control (DTC) became popular because it has insensitive to motor parameters, simple structure and fast torque response. The aim of this paper is to study and research DTC controlled PMSM based on sensorless technique. In order to realize sensorless, the DTC need initial rotor position information. For obtaining rotor initial position information, the sensorless technique of high frequency injection is proposed. In this paper, the theory and structure of DTC and High frequency injection technique will be described. The simulation result proves that DTC and High frequency injection method have good performance on PMSM control.
