Abstract

The rise in direct oral anticoagulant (DOAC) use means nurses must understand the reversal of these agents in case of bleeding. Depending on bleed severity, as well as other criteria, pharmacologic reversal can be considered in place of supportive care alone. Knowledge of literature surrounding DOAC reversal is crucial.
