Abstract

Aqueous dispersions of coarse spindle-like hematite particles were studied under an optical microscope. In the aqueous dispersions of the hematite particles, the formation of loop-like agglomerates was visually observed. It is suggested that the loop-like agglomerates were brought about by magnetic interactions between the particles.
