Abstract

The 17O NMR spectra of uranyl oxygens have been measured under the irradiation of a laser. The chemical shifts and linewidths are affected by the irradiating laser intensity; these results can be explained in terms of a paramagnetic interaction of uranyl oxygens with excited uranyl ion.
