Direct methods of solving systems of linear algebraic equations with parallel organization of the computations

Abstract

The efficient organization of the solution of linear algebraic systems by direct methods on the MIMD multiprocessor computer is considered when the computing resources and technical possibilities are limited. The computational schemes are analysed qualitatively and the efficiency of dealing with them in parallel is estimated.
