Abstract

The forward and backward peakings observed in the angular distributions in nucleon collisions, are interpreted theoretically as forward knock on and heavy particle stripping, processes. Some experimental data on C 13(p, n)N 13 at varying proton energies were chosen and satisfactory fits were obtained.
