Direct Cross‐Coupling of CH Bonds with Grignard Reagents through Cobalt Catalysis

Abstract

Go go Grignard! The first highly regioselective, cobalt-catalyzed CH transformation of benzo[h]quinoline and phenylpyridine derivatives with Grignard reagents at room temperature has been achieved (see scheme).
