Abstract

For direct access to real plants and their scale models from Matlab the RT-Toolbox was created. It is a high-level software tool for data acquisition, rapid prototyping and testing of control algorithms in Matlab enviroment using real systems and their scale models. This paper presents basic features of RT-toolbox and experience with its use. Tasks, supported by RT-Toolbox involve both simple access to A/D and D/A convertors and more complex tasks like periodical I/O operations, signal filtering, discrete controllers and data recording which run in background with different sampling rates.
