Abstract
A 32-year-old female developed a bruit, determined to arise from a rare direct arteriovenous (AV) fistula from the ascending pharyngeal artery to the internal jugular vein.The fistula was treated by transarterial silicone balloon occlusion, with occlusion of fistulous flow, ablation of symptoms, and excellentlong-term result.
