Abstract
Diptera Sciomyzidae : Suprageneric classification and practical determination of european genus. — There are three subfamilies only included in this classification of Sciomyzidae (Diptera) : Salticellinae Enderlein, 1939, Huttonininae Steyskal, 1965 and Sciomyzinae sensu Steyskal 1965. Validity of genus Knutsonia Verbeke 1964 is discussed and Ilione Haliday 1837 is considered as nomen nudum. An illustrated key is established for the 22 genus of Sciomyzidae which have been found in Europe.
