Abstract

We study optical transmission characteristics of a waveguide-coupled photonic crystal microcavity embedding a driven three-level dipole emitter. By spatially modulating the control field, alternating regions of high transmission and absorption can be produced in two waveguide channels which can be used for an amplitude grating.
