Abstract
The diploma is aimed at developing a sound understanding of palliative medicine. It is useful for anyone who is interested in palliative care, such as GPs, hospice doctors, and palliative care professionals. We even had a few consultants on the course who wanted to develop further their knowledge and skills in this area. I initially began the diploma from Cardiff University in 2003. As I was in the process of moving office, however, my coursework had not been forwarded and once it had been received I was already a month behind.
