Abstract
A 62-year-old woman presented with vague abdominal pain and intermittent diarrhoea of a few months’ duration. Laboratory tests revealed leucocyte count 6680mm−3 with slightly increased eosinophils (584mm−3) and haemoglobin 14.0g/dl. She underwent colonoscopy, and when the ascending colon was reached, a long yellowish object was found (Fig. 1).
