Abstract

A tunable diode laser combined with a self-made heated static cell was used to measure the high-resolution absorption spectra of ten strong lines of carbon dioxide belonging to the 20012 ← 00001 band near 2.0 μm in the temperature range of 296 K to 1100 K. Using the Voigt profile of the measured direct absorption spectrum and the line strength, self-broadening coefficient and temperature dependent exponent of the ten lines were determined. The measured spectral line strength and self-broadening coefficients of 12C16O2 were compared well with the available values listed in the HITEMP/HITRAN database. The uncertainties and primary error sources in the determination of those parameters were discussed respectively. The temperature dependence exponents of self-broadening coefficients were compared with the calculated values obtained from HITEMP2010. We found that there was not a monotonic relationbetween the temperature exponent n and the J values, which was different with the result reported in the previous papers.
