Abstract

The ancient Greek and Roman civilization are commonly regarded as the intellectual and political bases for the modern European civilization. In my paper, I have proceeded to examine the reforms of three illustrious emperors of ancient Rome: Diocletian, Hadrian, and Octavian Augustus. I conclude that the common feature that they share is that they have not proceeded to any serious administrative, judicial, nor economic reforms.
