Abstract
In June 2024, I had the honor of participating in a team of researchers and students whose undertaking consisted of exhuming a specimen of a giant fern discovered in the area of the Natural Monument of Fossilized Trees of the State of Tocantins (Monaf), which in turn, is located in the region in the district of Bielândia, municipality of Philadelphia, north of the State of Tocantins.
