Abstract

The properties of a new form of iron addition, steel production wastes, for the preparation of the lime-iron slip in the production of dinas parts were studied. It was established that the wastes have a significantly higher FeO content than pyrite cinders. The rheological properties of the milk of lime base slips with pyrite cinders and with wastes are practically the same with a consumption of wastes 1.5 times less than of pyrite cinders. Better pressability of the mixtures with the use of wastes was established.
