Abstract

This article discusses theoretical and practical dimensions of the value approach in education and practice of social work. Theoretically, the importance of values and human rights in the social sciences and in particular in the training of students in social work and in the professional realization of social workers is justified. The results of an empirical study on human rights as fundamental values in social work are also presented and analyzed. On this basis, conclusions and recommendations for improving the academic training and the continuing qualification of professionals in the field of social work are formulated
