Abstract

In this paper we present an algorithm to evaluate the kinetic parameters of a general order TL glow curve. The algorithm is derived from what we have called the May-Partridge dimensionless model and allows the systematic determination of these parameters. The performance of the algorithm is verified by calculating the kinetic parameters of an aquamarine glow peak recently reported in the literature. The results obtained with other methods of kinetic theory are compared with those obtained with the method proposed here.
