Abstract
The lock-in transition on good-quality over-dopedTl2Ba2CuO6 single crystal was investigated. The observed sharp drop,a dip and a peak together in the flux flow resistivity ρ(θ) as themagnetic field angle θ with the c-axis approaches 90° havebeen ascribed to vortex phase transitions of different types. Ademonstration of the inadequacy of the two models of the angular dependence ofthe upper critical fields to explain this phenomenon is presented here.
