Abstract

This note contains comments on a recent paper by Collins and Tkachov where it was stated that dimensional regularization fails to regulate some infrared singularities that arise in studying the Sudakov limit. The purpose of this note is to argue that there is no breakdown of dimensional regularization and to discuss features of the limit that is involved.
