Abstract

The momentum (reverse) space for a flat-confined Fermi liquid system is considered and the adequate spatial dimension is established. It is shown that the fundamental quantities of the Fermi liquid theory such as the Fermi momentum and the density of states are modified and they become functions of the effective dimensionality. The stability conditions of the Pomeranchuk- type for all parameters of the Fermi liquid interaction are found and discussed in the large system-size limit.
