Abstract

Different mechanisms of dilepton production are examined in the proton-proton and proton-deuteron interactions at the incident energy around 1 GeV. Particular attention is paid to conversion decays of the eta meson. The modification of the lepton pair invariant mass by the form factor is discussed in the Vector-Dominance Model and in different versions of the Constituent Quark Model. A feasibility study of the light mesons Dalitz decay using the WASA detector is presented.
