Abstract

Global climate change not only has a major and profound impact on human society, but also has an impact on cultural heritage that cannot be ignored. This article focuses on material cultural heritage. Under the current situation of cultural relics protection in China, it explores the impact of climate change on material cultural heritage such as movable cultural relics, immovable cultural relics, and buried undiscovered cultural relics, and briefly discusses the dilemma of protecting cultural relics and heritage under climate change, and put forward relevant protection countermeasures. It is anticipated that the research presented in this article will offer valuable guidance and serve as a reference for safeguarding cultural heritage and enhancing personnel training in response to climate change, while also laying the groundwork for preliminary explorations into cultural heritage preservation.
