Abstract

The best approximation method of equiripple is one of finite impulse response (FIR) filter design method. The principle of minimizing the maximum deviation is adopted here, and the best match of frequency response between the ideal and the actual filter can be achieved. The paper describes how the equiripple approaching method is used to establish a model of FIR band-stop digital filter (BSF), and gives the running result of FIR BSF under the MATLAB environment. The experiment result demonstrates that the performance of the solution is stable, the effect is good and the expected purpose has been achieved.
