Abstract

A methodology of a digital twin modelling as a real physical object computer prototype, which is considered an electric heater, is proposed. The methodology allows to synthesize a discrete mathematical model due to the air heating process passive identification in an electric heater. The analysis of the electric heater mathematical model uncertain parameters is carried out and the integral quality indicator for the assessment of the dynamic model adequacy in the process of air heating is proposed. To adapt the electric heater dynamic model, the algorithm for passive identification of uncertain parameters has been developed, where the deviations of the model uncertain coefficients in the process of air heating are minimized. The examples show that the identification of the dynamic model uncertain coefficients should be classified as a one-extremes optimization problem. Numerical results confirmed the proposed methodology effectiveness for the modelling digital twin of electric heater for cyber-physical systems of industrial enterprises. The considered examples illustrate the proposed technique for modelling a digital twin using the applied modelling package MatLAB is an effective and convenient tool for the rational creation of cyber-physical systems.
