Abstract

Changes in the healthcare system are triggered by, among other things, technological developments. As such, have a correlative effect on changes in the approach to task performance of healthcare professionals. One of the other reasons for changes affecting individuals among health care personnel is also the sense of transformation of the roles undertaken by them from classically accepted to being oriented by current needs and situations. This paper presents the results of a study related to such situation in the Polish healthcare system based on quantitative results of questionnaire survey distributed to staff at selected healthcare facilities countrywide.
