Abstract

The article is devoted to the language training of volunteers to work at international events, the requirements for volunteers, as well as modern digital technologies that have made significant changes in the process of teaching foreign languages. A foreign language is a means of cross-cultural and international communication, which allows students to participate in international projects within a city or country. The author analyzes the concept of “voluntarism” as a pro-social activity by its nature in the target, procedural, content, and technological components. To train volunteers, it is necessary to use digital technologies, which makes classes more interactive. G. N. Khomedova and D. V. Sedova found that students of non-linguistic specialties often explain the lack of motivation to learn a foreign language by the lack of expediency of studying it. Often they “do not see the possibility of its application in life and further work”. Therefore, some researchers, for example, believe that “creation of a developing educational environment is one of the most important areas of pedagogical activity. Thus, students will be able to realize their opportunities and needs in learning a foreign language through the formation of the personal meaning of foreign language knowledge.
