Abstract

A new digital predistorter is proposed that copes with the variation of power amplifier characteristics faster than the adaptation rate of the predistorter by using multiple lookup tables. Experimental results derived from a prototype show that the proposed predistorter can suppress the adjacent channel interference up to 12 dB compared to the conventional predistorter with a single lookup table.
