Abstract
The polarization characteristics of a Digital Speckle Pattern Interferometric (DSPI) arrangement are investigated. The influence of this parameter on the visibility of the speckle correlation fringes is pointed out. A theory is outlined and compared with experimental measurements showing the validity of the approach.
