Abstract

A digital integrator design is proposed which has one or more built in “potentiometers”. It is intended primarily for use as the elementary module of a digital differential analyser (DDA) for process control and the solution of differential equations. By so reducing the number of machine elements, the “patching” problem is considerably eased, especially when electrically programable interconnections are necessary.
