Abstract

A new geometric correction and deflection control system for a multi-scan monitor is described. By introducing a concept of imaginary position coordinate and using a DSP technology, the vertical geometric correction waveform is always the same for a picture even if the vertical frequency, the vertical size and the vertical position is varied. Furthermore, the deflection circuits fully digitally controlled via a bus. This system easily realizes a microcomputer controlled multi-scan monitor system.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>
