Abstract
The theoretical foundations of the introduction of electronic document management systems are considered. Electronic document management is understood as the infrastructural core of any enterprise. The authors are convinced that this is not just an innovation, but a cardinal management decision that has no analogue in the traditional management of enterprise information flows. Thanks to this innovation, the work of the team will be greatly facilitated. The electronic document management system, being a significant advantage of automation, uniquely optimizes the speed of tasks and increases the competitiveness of the organization.
