Abstract

A photovoltaic (PV) system is connected to the utility grid via a line-commutated thyristorized inverter. The inverter is controlled by a digital controller and fired by a digital firing technique using a microcomputer. This leads to a high firing resolution and synchronization, minimizing the hardware circuitry, and enhancing system reliability. Also we used two hardware interrupt requests to save more time for other tasks for the computer.
