Abstract
Bear MountainWinery has enlisted the aid of a digital Process Controller to manipulate a potential 160, 000 tons of grapes during a sixty tp ninety day crusing season. Seventy different varieties of grape must be Separated and processed according to variety, grape quality, abd final product with documentation to satisy the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol. This paper deseribes in depth the problen the computer system was to solve, how it solved the problem and the benefits from the solution. future plans for the system are also discussed.
