Abstract

The article presents the possibility of implementation of digital cognitive behavioural psychoeducation as a mass, free intervention in Polish schools. The author describes the iFightDepression tool which was implemented as part of the EAAD-Best.eu project, funded by the European Commission. This tool can involve a lot of users, increase access to treatment and reach people who are reluctant to use traditional mental health services. iFightDepression is based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and has been clinically tested to show positive antidepressant effects. The author draws attention to the possibility of using the tool as an element of prevention in school psychological and pedagogical offices, which may contribute to reducing mental health crises in Polish schools.
