Abstract

A circuit is described that stabilises the centre frequency of a frequency-modulated synthesiser in the VHF-UHF bands. It has been designed especially for high index modulation as used for instance in NMR on oriented nuclei. The circuit improves the long-term stability of the centre frequency by a factor of 100.
