Abstract

Potential changes in the field of Vocational Education and Training (VET) are currently enthusiastically discussed among various stakeholders. In the complex collective skill formation regime, curricular regulation both for schools and firms have a strong impact on regulatory and organisational aspects in VET. Therefore, analysing curricula for both stakeholders with regards to ‘digital aspects’ seems fruitful. The basis of this analysis are the 10 most frequented commercial apprenticeships. It became apparent that more recently published curricula contain more ‘digital aspects’. Also, there seems to be a difference between school and work-based-curricula in terms of frequency of ‘digital aspects’. These results might give hints for regulatory work on VET.
