Abstract
Editors' Note: This article is excerpted from a transcription of a tape made during a panel discussion on oral history which took place at the National Women's Studies Association Conference, Humboldt State University, Arcata, California, in June 1982. The two panelists were Sherry Thomas, author of We Didn't Have Much, But We Sure Had Plenty, and Sandy Boucher, author of Heartwomen. The tape was transcribed by Elizabeth Speare and edited by Nancy Mann and Kathi George.
